Jonathan Wharton
Jonathan Wharton founded his law practice in 2015 to help create positive outcomes for people going through their toughest times. He represents those whose lives have been impacted by the devastation of personal injury, people facing business disputes, and victims of financial wrongdoing. His firm primarily handles the most difficult cases, focusing on matters that require hard work and expertise to avoid settling for less than they’re worth.
Jonathan takes a different approach to personal injury law. His caseload includes some of the most challenging cases. Board Certified in personal injury trial law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, Jonathan provides representation for select personal injury cases that require vigorous negotiations or trial. Jonathan knows how to drive a case forward to extract as much value as possible. His track record of success at trial and on appeal speaks for itself.
With a reputation for honest representation, a straightforward style, and dedication to striving for the highest quality results, Jonathan’s practice is client-focused. He ensures that each client has responsive counsel, individualized legal services, and receives personal attention throughout every stage of the litigation process.
Frequently referred cases by other Texas personal injury firms for his litigation skills and technical proficiency, Jonathan has an expansive knowledge of the law and the experience necessary for effective written advocacy and presentation in the courtroom. Prior to starting his own practice in Fort Worth, Jonathan spent several years defending claims for insurance companies. This provided him with a great deal of trial experience and an inside view of how insurance companies operate and strategize.
In addition to concentrating in personal injury law, Jonathan represents clients for medical malpractice claims, premises liability matters, and intentional torts. Using his sharp analytical and investigative skills, Jonathan assists clients in recovering compensation for major financial, physical, and emotional losses. Applying his adeptness for tactical inquiry and investigation, he helps victims of wrongdoing reveal the truth to achieve victory. Working diligently to secure the best possible results for each of his clients, he strives to ensure that no wrongdoer is above the law.
Jonathan received his law degree from Baylor University School of Law, where he concentrated in both business and civil litigation. In addition to practicing law, he is committed to sharing his knowledge and experience with others in the legal field. Jonathan regularly gives presentations to paralegal associations on various topics in the law including civil procedure, civil rights, and constitutional law. He also provides strategic advice and valued counsel to other personal injury attorneys.
Originally from upstate New York, Jonathan resides in Fort Worth, Texas. He is a member of both the Texas and New York State bars. When he isn’t practicing law, he enjoys karaoke, playing guitar, training for boxing, and playing chess.
